About PDK International

Governance

The association's governing body is the PDK International Board of Directors. Officers of the board—president, president-elect, and immediate past president—along with regional board members, are elected by the professional members. The international board meets at least twice each year, in January and June.

PDK is divided into nine regions as follows:
Region A: Arizona, Australia, California, Guam, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, Nevada, New Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Utah, and addresses in the Pacific and continent of Asia
Region B: Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Manitoba, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Oregon, Saskatchewan, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, and Yukon
Region C: Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas
Region D: Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin
Region E: Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia
Region F: District of Columbia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia
Region G: Alabama, the Caribbean, Central America, Florida, Georgia, Mexico, Mississippi, and South America
Region H: Africa, Bermuda, Connecticut, Europe, Maine, Massachusetts, Middle East, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New York (except addresses west of a north-south line from Rochester to Binghamton)
Region I: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York addresses west of a north-south line from Rochester to Binghamton

By action of the PDK International board, effective July 1, 2010, PDK will be divided into six regions.

Until July 1, each region is served by an international board member and chapter/member liaisons (CML), a volunteer leader identified to support local chapters. Effective July 1, PDK will have a new governance structure in which regions will be served by field representatives and area directors.
