Future Educators AssociationSM (FEA)
FEA is an international program for middle and high school students interested in exploring teaching as a career option. It helps students gain a realistic understanding of the nature of education and the role of the teacher. FEA not only helps students explore careers in education but also provides service opportunities and offers schools and communities a chance to shape their own future by shaping the future of the education profession.

Phi Delta Kappa International directs FEA clubs in schools across the United States and internationally by collecting and disseminating information about teaching as a profession, employment opportunities, financial assistance options, and such educational issues as professional mobility, diversity, job security, and other matters.

Teacher to Teacher E-Mentoring
Teacher to Teacher is PDK's national electronic mentoring initiative designed to help beginning teachers overcome the challenges they face in their first years by connecting them via technology with veteran educators. Teacher to Teacher supplements the beginning teacher's professional development with an enthusiastic e-mentor who will offer help and support at the beginning teacher's convenience and without the burden of evaluation that is often placed on traditional in-school partnerships.

Teachers who want a mentor to help guide them through the “sink or swim” early years of their careers, and experienced educators who are passionate about helping new teachers achieve success are invited to become a part of Teacher to Teacher.

The Teacher to Teacher E-Mentoring program is a partnership between PDK and the Wal-Mart Foundation.

International Travel
PDK’s international travel opportunities emphasize educator-to-educator professional development and offer participants a firsthand view of the education systems in such places as England, China, and Scandinavia. U.S. educators can interact with colleagues abroad, learn about schooling in other nations, and exchange information.
