What the 2013-2014 Emerging Leaders Program Offers
Those who are selected as 2013-2014 Emerging Leaders come to Washington D.C. on December 5-7, 2013 to network with their cohort for that year and to speak with people who are making bold changes in the profession. PDK covers the cost of the Washington D.C. program, travel, and lodging up to a certain amount. The 2013-2014 Emerging Leaders will also have the opportunity to publish with PDK, and access to grant opportunities and international travel scholarships.
What Alumni Say About the Program
“It’s a great way to network. Through the program, I found people who have the same interests and goals.”
-Melissa Lime, Emerging Leader, 2010-2011
“You meet with principals, teachers, superintendents, and researchers. You learn what everyone is doing to approach a common problem. It makes you feel as if you are all in this together.”
