PDK’s graduate fellowships annually support Kappans who are pursuing graduate degrees at the master’s, specialist, and doctoral
levels.
Graduate Fellowships and Scholarships
The deadline is June 1, 2009.
PDK supports educators who are pursuing graduate degrees in education through several fellowships and awards made available through the Phi Delta Kappa Educational Foundation and its endowed scholarship program.
- Graduate Fellowships in Educational Leadership are for members who will be graduate students from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
- Larry E. Frase Scholarship is for doctoral students studying motivational factors of teachers and educational leaders. Deadline is June 1.
- R. Gerald Melton Scholarship is for doctoral study in education administration. Deadline is June 1.
- Nappi-Cahill Graduate Fellowship Fund is for graduate study in mathematics. Deadline is June 1.
- John M. Skalski Scholarship is for PDK members in a doctoral study in education. The deadline is June 1.
- The Lorin and Susan Waitkus Endowed Scholarship is for a master of arts (M.A.) in mathematics, science, and/or technology.
- Ruey H. Witten Fellowship is for post-baccalaureate study in music education. Deadline is June 1.
