International Travel Scholarships
In 1980 Gerald Read and his wife, Vickie, established an endowment with the PDK Educational Foundation that provides scholarships for Kappans to participate in the travel program. PDK members may apply for one of the Gerald Howard Read International Travel Scholarships to help offset the cost of traveling through the International Educator-to-Educator Travel Program.
The deadline has passed to apply for a $1,000 Gerald Howard Read International Travel Scholarship to use to defray the expenses of the 2010 PDK trip to China. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than July 16, 2010.
