The reality is there is no individual program that will provide everything future teachers need to know.  Before you can participate in one of the Master Degree programs you have to identify your areas of interest. You can just jump into a program thinking it is going to provide what you seek unless you first identify what you are seeking.

I have found myself identifying qualities with my middle school students that great teachers possess. The students are often surprised when I recommend that they consider teaching as a future career option. As the research article you reference suggests, I am usually the first person who has ever brought up the subject with the student. I see greatness in all of my students, however there are a few who are shining examples of exemplary teachers in the making. I hope that more teachers take your advice and begin to cultivate the love for learning and teaching within the classroom.
