Chapter officers comprise the local governing board. They are responsible for upholding the purpose of the association. Duties include:
Assessing the needs of members and the education community and providing services accordingly
Providing programs and services related to education
Communicating with members, CMLs, regional representatives, and the international office
Promoting membership
Inducting and retaining members
Promoting the PDK Educational Foundation
Fostering and supporting diversity and equity
Carrying out fiscal responsibilities
Maintaining chapter bylaws
