In February 2011 the PDK International board voted unanimously to establish a task force on chapters. At the February 2012 meeting the board discussed the report and voted unanimously to accept the six recommendations (page six) and the associated standards. Read the complete report.
For a century, volunteers at all levels have provided leadership, insight, and inspiration for a network of chapters around the world. Many resources are available to support volunteer leaders as they work to help their chapters fulfill PDK’s tenets of service, research, and leadership. These resources include newsletter templates, sample bylaws, best practices from chapters worldwide, certificates, handbooks, and more.
PDK would like to congratulate the following chapters for their longevity.
Eight PDK chapters will celebrate milestone anniversaries during this fiscal year (July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013). We would like to acknowledge these chapters and all members and officers who have preceded them.
