Legislation may be generated by any professional member or chapter. The process is highlighted below. All proposals must be submitted in writing to the International Board at least 14 days prior to a regularly scheduled meeting.

Any professional member may propose an amendment (requires a 2/3 affirmative vote of the International Board to be submitted for a general membership vote). |

A proposal supported by 500 or more professional members is submitted to the general membership for a vote. |
