Join a Giving Society. The PDK Giving Societies recognize individual donors.

Organize or Join a Walk for Education. The annual fall Walk for Education shines a spotlight on education and raises money for community-based projects and for the PDK Educational Foundation.

Endow a Scholarship or Make a Deferred Gift. Kappans can establish a legacy by creating an endowed scholarship fund that will assist tomorrow’s young people in making education a career.

Why We Need Your Support
Public education is facing challenges never before seen. As a result, we are working harder than ever to provide educators with high-quality professional development opportunities and up-to-the-minute resources. We have launched several new initiatives, such as the new EDge magazine with “The Latest Information for the Education Practitioner,” online Classroom Tips, and an electronic mentoring program that connects veteran educators and new professionals. We need your support to continue providing programs that —
  • Promote high-quality education as essential to a democratic way of life.
  • Mentor tomorrow’s education leaders — through recognition, scholarships, travel, and professional development.
  • Ensure that our children and our children’s children have great teachers by promoting education as a career.
  • Offer expanded opportunities for Kappans to “think globally and act locally” through our extensive network of PDK chapters in communities around the world.
