Connecticut Kappan Scholarship
In 2010 The University of Connecticut, Western Connecticut State University, Central Connecticut State University, Southern Connecticut State University, Fairfield University, and the Litchfield Hills chapters of PDK International joined together to create the Connecticut Kappan Scholarship Endowment. This award will go to high school seniors from the State of Connecticut who are planning to pursue careers as teachers and who have maintained a 3.0 high school GPA. In addition, one of the recipient's letters of recommendation must come from an educator. Recipients will be chosen through the PDK Prospective Educators Scholarship Program.
