University of Texas Chapter Scholarship Fund
The University of Texas Chapter in Austin, Texas, established an endowed scholarship account with PDK International in 1995 to be awarded to a high school senior committed to pursuing a career in the teaching profession. The chapter's executive board made an initial donation of $2,000 in 1995. Contributions from members were added over the next five years, and the first scholarship was awarded in 2000.
Recipients are selected by the chapter using PDK's prospective educator scholarship applications.
