The Dr. J. Arnold Webb Greensboro High School Scholarship
The Dr. J. Arnold Webb/Greensboro High School Scholarship will be awarded annually to a student with demonstrated need who attends Greensboro High School in Greensboro, Alabama, and intends to become a teacher.
Dr. Webb received a bachelor's degree from Alabama A&M University, a master's degree from Atlanta University, and a doctoral degree from the University of Kansas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Dr. Webb's career in education included positions as a teacher or an administrator in the public schools of Madison, Wisconsin; Kansas City, Missouri; Kansas City, Kansas; and Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is now retired.
