Join a Giving Society
The PDK Educational Foundation’s Giving Societies provide a structure to recognize members for their support of the Foundation and its programs. Donations may be made online.
Annual Giving
Nine annual giving societies are maintained to recognize gifts from individuals. Special recognition is provided annually to members of each society. The named societies honor people who were important in PDK's history. Maynard R. Bemis was executive secretary of Phi Delta Kappa International from 1956 to 1970, during which time the PDK Educational Foundation was established. Lowell C. Rose was executive secretary of Phi Delta Kappa International from 1971 to 1995, during which time PDK had considerable membership growth. Bessie Gabbard was first lady of PDK and a leader of the foundation from its inception until her death in 2001. She was also one of foundation's largest benefactors.
Additional information about the societies can be obtained by calling 800-766-1156 or sending e-mail to scholarships@pdkintl.org.
