WHAT IS IN THE ARCHIVE?
* The Phi Delta Kappa database contains bibliographies and abstracts of PDK's publications.
* Entries date from the 1970s through the present. By searching the database, educators can learn about books, articles, and reports on specific topics of interest.
* Each month we will be posting articles from the current issue and additional articles from back issues.
* Currently, nearly three years of articles are available in full-text or pdf format and nearly 30 years of abstracts are available.
* Please note that the full-text and pdf archive articles generally do not include photos, charts, cartoons, or graphics.
HOW DO I USE THE ARCHIVE?
Anyone can search and view the publication abstracts without registering or logging-in. However, to view or purchase articles, please read the options below:
PDK MEMBERS
and KAPPAN SUBSCRIBERS*: The first time you use the search, please
register
using your
member or subscriber
number*.
On subsequent visits you will only need to log
in before
beginning your publications search so that you will have access
to links of the full texts of those Kappan articles
available online.
OTHER CUSTOMERS who are not members or subscribers may purchase articles for
$3-7 each, depending upon length. To purchase articles, enter an ID and password of your
choice with your billing information when prompted on the checkout page. Because of the ease of
reproduction, we cannot offer returns or refunds on digital file
purchases.
(*Subscribers note: When you first register, you will enter your subscriber number
without the initial "K," but you will use the "K"
before the number when you log-in on subsequent visits.)
