Join the PDK Book Club and receive a selection of the most prominent, education-related books delivered right to your doorstep—without the hassle of scouring book reviews and making a trip to the book store! Add this option to your current PDK membership, and three times per year you will receive a contemporary book selected specifically for PDK members.

Book Club members will receive books in July, November, and March. The July selection for the 2010-2011 year is 21st Century Skills: Rethinking How Students Learn, edited by James Bellanca and Ron Brandt. 21st Century Skills, a book in the Leading EdgeTM series, examines a daunting challenge today's educators face: how to equip students with the skills to succeed in the 21st century. What Effective Schools Do: Re-Envisioning the Correlates by Lawrence Lezotte and Kathleen McKee Snyder is the November selection. What Effective Schools Do provides a comprehensive description of practices that enable educators to build and sustain a school culture that accommodates the learning expectations and needs of all students.

As a PDK Book Club member, you can:
