PDK Hires New Director of Membership to
Serve a New Generation of Educators

Bloomington, Ind. — Phi Delta Kappa International, the professional association of educators founded in 1906, has renewed its commitment to serving educators in this, its centennial year, through the hiring of a new services-focused director of membership, Amy Kemp.

Ms. Kemp, who worked at the Federation of Animal Science Societies (FASS) for more than 10 years before joining PDK, is the latest addition to a staff dedicated to the priorities of membership fulfillment and advocacy for education. Amy's expertise in professional development, member support, and publication services, acquired through her work at FASS, will bring to PDK the new ideas and vitality necessary to move the education association confidently into its second century of serving the education community.

"Amy Kemp brings with her a wealth of experience gained while working at other membership-focused associations," stated William Bushaw, PDK executive director. "I'm confident that this experience will translate into many excellent new programs and services for our members." One of Amy's first priorities will be to advance PDK's efforts to update its benefits and services for a new generation of educators.
