Classroom Management: Practical Framework

DESCRIPTION:  

In this one-day training participants will discover a variety of techniques to increase productive classroom time while teaching students to take responsibility for their actions and learning.

By focusing on current models of classroom management and assessing their own teaching styles, participants will learn how to:

  • Prevent discipline issues by creating effective expectations, rules, and procedures
  • Establish proactive strategies for effective conflict resolution
  • Avoid power struggles
  • Teach students to problem solve and develop decision making skills
