Critical Thinking Skills Across the Curriculum

All of our training opportunities are site-specific. That is, the content is tailored to the expressed needs of the participants, and it is delivered to your site.

This one-day professional development opportunity focuses on strategies educators can use to challenge children to use critical thinking skills in all subject areas.

Participants will be prepared to teach students critical thinking skills by using specific instructional strategies such as

• Non-fiction text graphic organizers
• Feature analysis
• Word sorts
• Summarization
• Anticipation and study guides
• Inquiry charts
• Listen-read-discuss
