PDK International will convene educators from around the world and across disciplines at it Summit on High-Performing Educators: What makes a great teacher? More than 600 educators are expected to attend the summit, to be held at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, Texas, on November 13-15, 2008. PDK's mission to promote quality education as essential to the development and maintenance of a democratic way of life will be advanced throughout the summit's serious, thought-provoking dialogue about fostering excellence in teaching.

The deadline for PDK to receive all ad copy is June 22, 2008.
Prices
The prices are $900 for a full-color, full-page inside cover ad; $700 for a full-page black and white ad; and $500 for a half-page black and white ad.

Specifications
Digital files are preferred, using Mac platform; however, files on a PC platform are accepted. Page layout file formats: Quark Xpress 4.0 or higher, Adobe Illustrator 9.0, or high-resolution (1200 dpi) PDF/Acrobat 4.0 preferred. Image file formats should be saved as high resolution (300 dpi at 100 percent) and can be TIFF, JPG, or EPS. Note that embedded EPS file for logos and artwork must include all fonts and art. Fonts: PostScript Type 1 only. Note that fonts have two parts, a printer version and a screen font icon. Please submit both. Also, please specify trapping. Supply hard copy proofs that match each supplied digital file. For all color ads, the printer needs a true color proof (for matching purposes). |
