PDK International's Summit on High-Performing Educators will provide educators with an opportunity to think about and discuss the question: What makes a great teacher?
Research shows that the single most important factor in a student's education is his or her teacher. A panel of experts will tackle this issue in a moderated session on Thursday, November 13. The topic will be further enhanced through debates, workshops, panel discussions, lectures, and demonstrations on the following topics:
- What makes a teacher a high-performing educator?
- How do we prepare preservice teachers to become highly effective educators?
- What is the role of the administrator in facilitating a teacher's professional growth?
- How do we measure a teacher's effectiveness?
- Can we cultivate highly effective teachers through future educator programs?
- How do other countries prepare teachers for success?
- What is the role of professional development in moving teachers along a continuum of excellence?
- Do morals and ethical values play a part in teacher quality?
We invite you to join us as we discuss the impact of global education on the future of our world. |
